Not so sure. We may very well be on the outside looking in.

We think the story is great because  we love the team and the school. The committee will see an inconsistent, immature team that doesn't live up to its billing. A few wins in opportune scenarios seem great, but at the end of the day, we just dont have it this year.

We still have two to go.  Win them both and in.  Providence and Seton Hall have caught MU in standings and maybe BE gets seven if all win out. 

The blown games just killed MU and looking back:

Non con: Pitt by 15 in second half

Conf: Up 18 at Butler
         Seton Hall free throw debacle
         Losing to at the time a 3-6 Prov at home
         Losing at home to Butler team minus Martin at home
         Up 12 against Prov with seven to go

Yes, beat Nova and Creighton so thats two unexpected.  So, five blown games, less the two unexpected nets out to three additional conference wins and one non conference.  Win those games and would not even be having this discussion.  Just a shame.

On my phone so not that easy to make a compelling case at the moment PF, but here is one fairly recent example. I could be annoying and bump several threads, but I won't do that.
