My wife and I, along with our daughter and her fiance, are on Kauai.

The nearest sports bar is about 2 miles away.

Our daughter was going through her scuba certification and she was running late. She and her man had the car. So my wife and I hiked 2 miles through wind and light rain on busy roads that had no sidewalks, all so we could get to the bar on time for the game.

We have a VERY good record when watching games at bars, and this turned out to be another notch on our belts. My daughter and her man joined us for the second half, and the four of us basically took over the bar.

And now we're dancin'.
