to be honest I never complain when Marquette loses cause usually I say... it's ok we will bounce back. But this is ridiculous to lose to providence and saint johns.

NIT time.

NIT is no guarantee unless there are zero upsets in the conference tournaments. Hell, a win in DePaul is not guaranteed at this point.

I think MU will struggle vs DePaul.  Cheatham' struggles appear to be more mental that are manifesting as physical.  DePaul plays that shitty, slap happy style of ball that suckers MU in....bummer.  Very pumped post Nova. Going Saturday but now a little nervous

Nope.  MU will crush DePaul.  You do realize we already crushed them by 25 once?

manny31

MU just undid most of the good they done did vs CU and Nova, come the F'on . Not that anyone cares but I think I am moving on to the LAX team. I will be watching from afar not expecting too much. Fingers crossed about next year. I hate curvature, how about a straight line. Ring Out.........

warriorstrack

I hate to feel this way, but I won't believe it until I see it, DePaul has hung around too many teams for MU to feel anything but high stakes, and the pressure that comes with it

The Lens

Not that I'm happy but this was a KenPom "B" game.  It does not undo Nova.  We're still better off to beat Creighton & Nova and lose the next two than the other way around.

10 wins still gets us in.  Just like after Nova.  What we've lost is some seeding.

After these back to back losses i rather be in the NIT get a couple wins.

Not sure I would want to see us embarrassed in the first round of the Tourney

Never wish for the NIT Take NCAA even with early exit. I know couple of wins sounds temping in NIT but can loose first round NIT. NCAA's better for recruting even with first round loss.
Goal is National Championship

You don't even need to dignify the claim with a response.
