It was a really nice comeback against my Cats. I've browsed muscoop for years now every time we go head to head to see what's being said lol. This year's team though you guys can really shoot it. I tip my cap. Howard is going to be in the mix for POY I already know that. Anyways... I root for all Big East teams out of conference, but next to Butler i've always liked Marquette. We definitely mirrored each other in the mid/late 00s with guard play. I still remember a game we played when Wes Matthews, Dominic James, and Jerel McNeal gave my guys Foye, Ray, Lowry and Nardi all they wanted at home. Now 10 years later, and a couple coaches later you play a little bit different brand of ball. Nothing wrong with that, seeing as you beat us haha. Good luck the rest of the season. Hopefully we can meet at MSG for the tie breaker.  ;)

Thanks for stopping by.  I think everyone can agree that everyone in the BE aspires to be like Villanova.  Both in terms of the success of the program and the class of the program, from top down.  Rooting for you guys to go back 2 back...unless MU meets you along the way of course.

Cool post Ray. Got nothing but respect for 'Nova.

If we don't get a chance at MSG, maybe we could get together in early April in Phoenix.

Ray - I'll bet 90% of Marquette fan's 2nd favorite BE team is Nova, so we wish you well.   You guys owned us 8 games in a row .. we were due.

Nova fans are great.  They're very knowledgeable about the game.  I love Philliy too, my brother having lived down the street for the Art Museum  (yes, I ran up the steps and had my photo taken with the Rocky statue).

Nova is a class act, I just hope that Marquette can help Nova to carry the Big East banner of excellence for decades to come.  Would love nothing more than our games to form a heated and debated rivalry that both team's fans enjoy to the core, and live and die with the outcome.

PS.  Pat's cheese steaks are the best!

Thanks for stopping by and the well wishes Ray.  If we can't win the national championship this year we hope you guys do.  Go BEast!

Great program, great coach, and classy all the time.  There's only 2 times per year I don't root for Villanova.  (Hopefully 3 times this year!)

Very classy post. Nova is a terrific team with a Hall of Fame coach.
