C'mon, we're due!  Here's last week's ORV list:

TCU 29, Southern Cal 14, SMU 8, Nevada 7, Northwestern 7, UNC-Wilmington 6, Iowa State 5, Akron 1, Kansas State 1

Per Kenpom, MU is #32 (Northwestern #31, UNC-W #46, TCU #33)

Had we won both games, we may have jumped straight into the rankings, but I could see picking up a few votes this week. Though if we really want votes, we should probably win the next two. That'll get us some votes for sure.

KenPom is limited in that it's not very intelligent. It does not know that Marquette didn't face Watson - it thinks we did.

Voters are human & know this.

We may get votes, but KenPom is giving us too much benefit, by system design.

Well we only bumped like 3 spots in Kenpom. Don't feel like that is TOO MUCH benefit. Frankly I thought we'd go up higher in Kenpom.

Plus, Creighton is going to be fine. I'd be surprised if did any worse than 12-6. Still a very very good team, and that Mintz kid looked good.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

I think this is true to a degree, yet Creighton was about their offensive rating (and above their conference Orating) yesterday. Foster had a monster points game and Mintz had 8 assists. Creighton wasn't a good defensive team with Watson. CU only had 11 turnovers.  I think they were more impacted by Patton's foul trouble yesterday.

MU beat them by not missing.
