"The outstanding play should continue as the Golden Eagles have a fairly weak non-conference schedule, which includes only one true road game and one contest against a ranked team."

The only one ranked opponent I understand, but how many high majors play more than one true today game in ooc anymore? The most you'll usually see its two (away for home and home and away for a rival).

Schedule is great this year, play teams that will be on the bubble, play Wisky at home, two good games this week.  SMU looks good.  Probably will beat Pitt.

Which means we have to beat Michigan. Don't count your chickens.
