Watching Kaminsky Play D
« on: April 23, 2016, 04:58:24 PM »
For those who think Hank's D will prevent him from playing next year, please turn on the Heat vs. Hornet's game. Frank got the start and the first thing the announcers discussed before they even tipped off was how big of an advantage Miami might have with Kaminsky matching up defensively on Luol Deng.

They're half way through the first quarter and Deng is 4/4 from 3. Super late rotating every time. The only time he got out to him on time Deng just pumped and Kaminsky totally bit and Deng blew by him. They had to foul on the play.

No way Hank's D is worse than Frank's. If Hank can hit mid range shots (he can) he'll play.

playing defense in the NBA is a mind-blower for Wisconsin players.    After 4-5 years of tackling people without a foul being called, they are actually subject to the same rules as other players.

We'll see, but I think he's going to have a tough time guarding people, regardless of what Frank Kaminsky can or cannot do.

He will. But that's not going to be enough to keep him off the court.

A lot will depend on the team he plays for.  Depending how bad they are, will determine a bit of how much he plays.
