Injury bug bites again

In advancing the Coppin State game this afternoon, coach Tom Crean said that sophomore guard David Cubillan will be a game-time decision after spraining his left ankle in practice on Wednesday.

Cubillan suited up for practice on Thursday but appeared to be moving gingerly. Should he be unable to go, it's likely Maurice Acker and Scott Christopherson would see their minutes increased.

Cubillan, the Golden Eagles' best three-point shooter with Dan Fitzgerald out, has hit 4 of his last 14 attempts from beyond the arc.

Fitzgerald, meanwhile, continues to recover from a sprained left wrist that's kept him out of the past four games. The senior forward continues to take part in shooting drills, but hasn't yet been cleared to participate fully in practice.

MU (8-1), ranked 10th in the country, hosts Coppin State at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Cubes was on crutches and in a boot yesterday.  Hopefully he will be back soon!

That's it, I'm suing Todd Rosiak for HIPPA violations.  This is getting ridiculous.  Doesn't he realize he is breaking serious HIPPA laws?

It would be an interesting, albeit futile, lawsuit since HIPAA doesn't apply to him. It only applies to certain enumerated healthcare providers (and that statement is very general).

Unless Rosiak is now a treating physician, he can't be sued for a HIPAA violation. At least not successfully.

I saw him in the AMU today and he was walking fine.  Shouldn't be too serious.

tripped over a tackling dummy at practice.

Probably punched a wall with his foot which had nothing to do with the tackling dummy at all, but rather then let the kid get buried by the press for his actions, he did the noble thing and covered him and said it was a practice injury.

Just sayin....
