I'm more inclined to separate the people by category of job.  I have interest in the two separate categories of play by play broadcaster and analyst, as I watch/listen to games.  I don't follow/watch/listen to sports talk shows, only watch actual games.  No pre-game, half time nor post game.  So I couldn't speak for those people/roles.  I do read some/a little of some writers here and there.
