Celtic Truth

Heldt was using crutches to get around campus today. No walking boot so I'm sure some people here are disappointed. Didn't look to be too serious, if I had to guess I'd assume a sprained ankle or something like that

I presume he walked past Jimmy Johns then.

Was there trace evidence of an encounter with a tacking dummy?

Nailed it. I spent a good 45 seconds trying to come up with a reference to that one. Couldn't do it.

RushmoreAcademy

Oh great. Now how is he going to practice free throws?

Any chance Wojo sprained Matt's knee hitting him with an ATV?

The Original Walking Boot predates Scoop references that I'm aware of. I will never forget the sad, pained look on Charles Luter's face as I "heldt" the Lalumiere door open for him while he struggled with full knee cast, walking boot, and crutches. He was such a good dude, always friendly and engaging, and though his stick figure frame wouldn't hold up in today's BigEast, he had a lot of game before his ruptured ACL.  I learned what "Empathy" meant during that cold, depressing, Dukiet winter.
Zenyatta has a lot....a lot... of ground to make up. She gets there from here she'd be a super horse......what's this.....Zenyatta hooked to the grandstand side....Zenyatta flying on the outside....this....is...un-belieeeeeevable!...looked impossible at the top of the stretch...

Wow... I remember the same.  Luter was such a nice guy and great personality as well as an incredible leaper before the injury.  It's really too bad he couldn't come back from the injury.

Not that is not the player this is in reference to.
The original scoop reference came from a thread in 2001 on Mike Juneaus marquetterivals.com site which included eyewitness testimony of Brian Wardle leaving the brand new Jimmy Johns in crutches.

MU says Heldt is out tonight with a knee injury.
