Well in Simmons' case, his godfather is on the LSU staff.

Simmons is a lazy lazy college basketball player.

Simmons seems to shirk to the biggest moments every time. He's got a long way to go to be ready to be a NBA superstar.

Not necessarily, but when you're the best player on the team, you need to be able to step up in those moments, not step down. For a guy who's been so clearly anointed (maybe just because there's no one else to anoint this season) I hoped for more out of him. He has the ability to be one of the greats, but I'm just not sure he has the personality.
