Pre Game
« on: January 15, 2016, 04:35:28 PM »
Looking for some suggestions on best pre-game places on campus and near the Bradley Center for game day atmosphere, food and beverages tomorrow. Out of convenience and based on lack of time, I typically hit Turner Hall, but will actually have more time tomorrow and am going up with a small group who haven't been to a MU game in quite a while.

Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks. Go MU!

Lots of options on 3rd street just east of the BC. Closest bar to the BC is Upper 90, just east of 4th. It's fine, but nothing spectacular.

Not sure about on campus options.

My favorite on-campus spot to watch a game and/or pregame is the Annex.

We like the Brat Haus on 3rd, small but good staff and good bar food.  I shouldn't say this since it fills up quickly but we like the owner and they always treat us old folks well.

Brat House is great if you're there early enough.

Crazy busy, though. If you go there, go very early, both to get seating and so you aren't waiting until after tip-off for your bill.

Never had that issue, but we were regulars for the packer games.

Family friend owns the Brat Haus. Always a nice spot although I usually go for some post game food instead of pre game.

Buck Bradley's is a good choice.   Owned by the Padgets, who used to run Good Time Charlie's and O'Padgets back in the day.  Bernie passed a few years ago but Dan is still works.

I'll throw a vote for Trinity.  It has a lot of seating, so it's easier to get a table than most places.

Bar Louie as well.

Mader's Knight Bar.  Free game parking if you grab lunch.
