Seats in section E2, row G.  I think behind the MU bench, more or less.

I'll be the one in the gold hoodie with the blue "Nova Dad" button; Ms. LegsJr. sitting next to me generally will look embarrassed by her father during the first half.

If she does not return after halftime, I will consider it to be a job well done.

I don't expect a lot of MU company at this one--prove me wrong...

I'm just surprised this game is at the Pavilion. First game students are back. Maybe I'm overestimating our stock/draw, but a 6.5k seat arena doesn't seem nearly enough for Nova vs Marquette.

Good luck Legs.  Bring us a win.

Nova was my #2 school, but got in to my #1 choice!

Hurts our chances of winning as well.  That place has a got a great atmosphere when the students are there.  Already a brutal task made that much harder by playing in that band box.

Believe that the Wells Fargo Center is hosting a Sweet 16/Elite 8 this year and LaSalle is the host, so Nova is playing all their home games at the Pavilion this year so they are eligible to stay in Philadelphia for the tournament.

That's correct, but I think the rule is that a team must play less than 5 games at a venue to be eligible to play there during the tournament.  Nova is playing 4 games at Wells Fargo this year...  1 pre-season exhibition (Pace), and 3 conference games (Providence, St. Johns and Georgetown)

Thx; I was wondering about that.  Even though it is a tough environment, glad to get the chance to see MU there.

She was the reverse!

All of a sudden I've got  a good feeling with the Legs clan in the house. Bring one back Legs

That's my understanding as well.

EDIT: I often wonder though: Is it really worth it?  I mean, sacrificing home games for a mere off-chance of playing at one of your home arenas in the Tourney?

I go to the Wells-Fargo MU games, but the Pavillion game tickets are hard to get and also quite expensive.

At the Pavillion w Legs in attendance.  Doable.

They aren't sacrificing home games. The Pavilion is located on campus. If anything, playing at the Wells Fargo Center is less of a home game. The Pavilion is a much more difficult place for visiting teams to play.

The only thing they are sacrificing is ticket revenue. But if you jack up prices for the pavilion games to make up for lower attendance you can probably come close to making it up.

That was the (poorly-worded) point that I was trying to make

Gotcha. Ok. Yeah I agree with you then.

The conference games are on Saturdays.

So if they can play 4 games at WF...why not all regular season games?  Seems like playing their exhibition there was kind of a wasted use of the big arena.  I'd bet MU, Butler or X could easily outdraw Pace.

Edit:  Just checked, and they got 4893 for Pace.

Not sure where I'll be sitting. Just look for Harold Jensen (Villanova Class of '87). Some of you may remember that he caught fire in the 1985 tourney and had (essentially) the game of his life. We grew up together. Still one of my closest buds. Believe it or not he's a big Marquette hoop fan...except when they play the Wildcats...
