Mike Hopkins

December 2nd Syracuse was 6,0 and hosting Wisconsin.  They were raked #14 and lost.  Bucky also lost to Western IL, UWM, MU and nearly blew a 30 point lead against Green bay showing this was a bad loss for the Orange.

Then Boeheim started a "known well in advance" 9 game suspension.

That suspension ended Tuesday with assistant Coach Mike Hopkins going 4 and 5 over this stretch.

Did Mike Hopkins kill his chance to be like Greg Gard and take over the Boeheim?

Not sure that he killed it, but he certainly didn't help it either.  Probably more of a loss than a win.

No big surprises or huge disappointments with road losses  at GTown, Pitt and Miami, and home wins against Colgate, Cornell, Montana State and Texas Southern.  But the 12-point loss @ SJU and the home loss to Clemson certainly raise questions.
