Merry Christmas to all.  May your holiday resemble a Norman Rockwell painting come to life.

Dear Santa:

I have been very good this year. I even went to the DePaul game last March when Marquette was, shall we say, not the best team we've had in awhile.

Santa, thanks for last year's gift of Henry Ellenson. We really liked that one and we hope Henry stays with us for a couple of years. We also really liked Cheatham, Anim, Carter and even Matt Heldt. Trust me, we were deserving.

I'm also glad you left the Hillbilly a sack of rocks.

For this year, we have more modest requests. All we want is a placement in the NCAA tournament. Be nice if we went deep but getting  there is nice.

We also like the early Christmas present you gave us in Madison last week. It's double nice with Bo and Barry also got a sack of rocks.

Thanks again Santa and we'll make sure to leave a six pack of PBR by the fireplace. I'm sure that would make hauling around that heavy sack easier. But ... the state patrol does not like sleighing while intoxicated.

Merry Christmas!!!!

Airing of grievances seems popular here.

P.S.  -- Santa, is it even possible to talk to Dr. Lovell about getting rid of that silly furry bird and replace it with a proud Warrior? Yeah, I know, but I have to ask anyway!
