Yes, for some.  I know my share of professional athletes and their wives because of my job.  I'd be careful to assume too much.  Many are as normal as anyone else.  They want private time with their families, their wives, etc.  Of course, there are some that are just off the rails....they shouldn't get married.  If you're committing to someone, then commit.  If not, then don't.
