Death on call

Benny B

Oldest trick in the book... when an officer pulls you over and you're drunk, chug a bottle of Jack right in front of him so he can't prove if you were drunk while you were driving.  Sure, it costs you a public intoxication or disorderly conduct citation, but you avoid the OWI.

Obviously, this guy was snorting cocaine before he got behind the wheel and panicked... nevertheless, I believe it is perfectly legal in Seattle, because with all the old people drivers (and former pilots) out there these days, they actually encourage the use of blow to help keep traffic moving.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

To me the most audacious thing about this story is not that he did it in front of the cop but that he was 73!  The story could be "73 year old does cocaine at grandson's bachelor party" and I'd be equally amazed.

This begs the question - when IS the best time?

Unless you are 25, "In your past" would be the best time.

A comedian once noted if the cops really dont want us snorting coke while driving  cars how come they leave all those cut white lines down the middle of the road as reminders.

BTW, if you're still doing coke at 73,  the only thing you are "speeding" up is your demise.
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

(and former pilots)

Once a pilot always a pilot. No such thing as a former pilot

Meh. At that age, let him do what he wants

If you're snorting coke in front of a police officer at your age, I'd say your flying days are pretty much over.
