Can't believe X at Providence last night. They let a 17 point lead in the second half slip to 3 before somehow hanging on to desperately squeak out a win. These guys are just horrible! They need to fire their coach and start all over IMO.

Mack is a bum - totally underperforming versus expectations

Can you imagine blowing a big lead at Providence? Only a crap team would ever do such a thing. And actually winning the game is meaningless -- only blowing the lead matters.

What is with all this trolling?

I think it is because of all the dooms-dayers out there...

So is that like an anti-moral victory, when you blow a big lead and still win the game?

Instead of feeling good even though you lost, you feel bad even through you won.

Mack seems to be rumored in every big coaching opening every year.  With this season's success (thus far), I sure hope X can hold on to him.

Just like MU is the program and not the coach, so to is Xavier.  Thad Matta, Sean Miller, Chris Mack.  They're committed to hoops and that's what really matters.

He graduated from X.  Probably stays there.  He re-upped last year after listening to offers and got a nice salary bump.  I can see the same thing playing out with continued success.
