Meh.  I don't find this to be upsetting or offensive at all.  Not one tiny iota.

But you know who should be upset about this?  Fordham.  They're #58 on the USN&WR* national list but only #36 here?  At least Marquette's non-rank can be considered an oversight... they actually considered Fordham, and yet the fourth highest Catholic institution on the USN&WR national list comes in at #36 on their list.

* Although every "college ranking" has its flaws (demonstrated by Northeastern University being in a tie for #42), USN&WR is still the gold standard.

That said, they got it right with putting Nova ahead of ND.  Actually, putting anyone ahead of ND is all right in my book.  If Fordham's upset, Notre Dame has to be pissed.
