I feel bad for Rob Jeter....class act
« on: November 30, 2007, 10:59:09 PM »
Rob is a class act, he really is.  The animosity was brought about by two complete jerks in Bruce and Bo and one clown in Bud.  Trying to run the MU program and demanding a game in the press created that situation.  It started my last year in the department when Bo started his crap.  It went on from there.

I'd like to see Rob succeed and games like this don't help his cause....nor MU's.

The only good to come of this were a few UW-Madison fans and a UWM fan or two having to swallow hard.  Yeah, I know they expected to lose, but they were destroyed in a display that was just ridiculous.

Of course the sad part is their shot of making the NCAAs is always there because of the Horizon and they should do well, though Butler obviously will control.

Rob probably wishes he took that Iowa State job, UWM might become a coach killer again unless he can make it "transfer U" like Bruce did....hmm, I wonder how he did that.   ::)

Agree, bananahammock.  That was really a weak performance from UWM, from a team who looks to me like they have some good parts in a game that should have been huge for them.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

I agree as well.  Jeter is getting ripped by many on the UWM message boards.  It doesn't help when your team isn't as talented plus Marquette went all out (which I am fine with).  He didn't ask for this and is paying for the sins of the past.

Speaking of class acts, I am sorry I didn't get to watch Pearl while his #4 Vols were being eviscerated by Texas.

Reading JSOnline, Jeter's pissed that we ran the score up.  I'm glad we didn't let up - we need to show the killer instinct.  I could have seen Crean put in second line players earlier than he did, however.  Would have given them more game experience and would have been "more humane".  I agree that Jeter is paying for the previous sins of others.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.
