My wife (MU '93) is cheering for UW.  She's like, "Cmon, you've lived in Wisconsin for long enough, you should get on the bandwagon."

My reply:  "So, say you lived in Poland back in 1943 and Germany invaded 4 years ago.  Do you just switch teams?  Hey, these German guys are OK, and they're kicking ass and taking names.  I'ma gonna start cheering for Germany!"

Did I lose the argument because I (aptly) compare UW to Hitler?  No I did not.
