Ok. So Marquette currently has 2 schollies to fill and 1 that will open up next year. I am going to go out on a limb and predict that wojo banks 1 and then uses the other on a 1 year grad transfer...giving us 3 for next year.  However, that isn't the point.

This is the place to talk about the current targets for 2016. Here is a preliminary list from what I've gathered, in no particular order.

Sam Hauser, SF, 6'6", Wisconsin, Composite 4*.  (100% MUBB crystal ball)

Amir Coffey, SG, 6'7", Minnesota, Composite 4* 0% crystal ball prediction for MUBB, but played with Sacar Anim in AAU ball... so hopefully some interest. Recent tweets I've seen said its between Iowa State, Marquette and Minnesota.

Cassius Winston, PG, 6'0", Michigan, Composite 4* (0% crystal ball for MUBB).

Please feel free to update this list TAMU or Brew. This is really the only thing I've seen so far.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

MU reportedly has offered:

5* Kobi Simmons, 6'5" SG from Georgia
4* Dequan Bracey, 5'11" PG from Maryland
4* Quentin Gooden, 6'2" PG from Kentucky
4* Tyler Cook, 6'7" PF from St. Louis

I think you nailed the three main targets. I feel great about Hauser, optimistic about Coffey, and Winston is probably a bit of a long shot. But this would be my ideal class.

Agreed on all points.

LAZER

I'm excited to see who gets the most attention from Wojo this summer when the AAU season heats up.

Any idea how long Coffey is supposed to be out? Will he play in the summer AAU circuit at all? I'd really like to see Wojo going hard after him this summer in particular.

That is an ideal. Iowa State is probably our biggest competition. I hope he only full court presses though... telling Coffey to "FU" seems a bit harsh.

Last I heard he should be back in June for the AAU season.

MU was the first to show serious interest in Hauser. Now other schools are getting in on the act. Virginia is pushing hard, and UW is interested as well.

Sam is a really nice player, and his little brother could be even better.

Sounds like Wojo needs to patrol the fence around Wisconsin and keep these outsiders out!!!

Of course, "little" brother is already taller and stronger than Sam.....   :)

Id assume we go hard on Sam not only for his talent and to lock down Wisconsin, but as like the Wally situation, to get the inside track to his brother. He looks like he could be another GREAT Wisconsin recruit.

It would be pretty interesting if Hoiberg leaves Iowa State after Burton (and McKay, for that matter) transferred to ISU in great part to play for him.

For Deonte, it would be almost a carbon copy of what he went through here -- commit to one coach, must decide about playing for another coach.

Of course, whoever the new ISU coach is, he surely wouldn't throw Deonte under the bus as that dastardly Wojo did!

Has any coach ever turned down an opportunity because of a player? Burton is decent, but he's certainly not worth turning down the Bulls.

Very interested to see how a Virginia or Wisconsin offer changes things for Hauser. Seems content on sitting on the Marquette offer through the summer (offered in June of '14)

WarriorPride68

Anyone know if Wojo has talked to Trevor Anderson (on visits to watch Hauser)? Kid keeps getting better

There is always some value to being one of the first big ones to offer. Kids remember who was there out of the gate. Especially with how Wojo does things, it seems like he builds a really great trust and relationship with his recruits. Hope that if Hauser is one he wants a lot, that he keeps that up despite the interest from the "others."

Agreed. Hauser has been camping with the Badgers his entire high school career though, so the connection is there, long before Wojo was even hired. Badgers & Virgina were in last week. Tony actually watched the game with his dad Dick.

Not concerned.

Coffee is for Wojo!
