Pretty simple. St. John's needs to not completely suck from here on out and Seton Hall needs to win the BET because they puked all over their shoes. Though Marquette, Creighton, or DePaul winning the BET would accomplish the same thing it would for SHU.

With wins over Cincy and Butler this week, X is looking solid.

St. John's has too much natural talent that has learned to play together to completely suck at this point in time.  Three more wins punches their ticket.

Never underestimate the power of a Steve Lavin coached team to suck at any given time. He could screw up the 1996 Chicago Bulls.

That said, 3 wins does punch their ticket, 2 may even be enough. For a 7th bid, though, it will take someone 7-10 winning the BET. SHU isn't getting in otherwise. Maybe if they win out and get to the BET title game it will be enough, but usually conference tourney games aren't as heavily weighted. And for a team in freefall, just no way I see them getting up off the mat.

Honestly, I 100% believe Marquette has a better chance of getting in the NCAAs than Seton Hall does. More chance we win 4 in 4 days than they do enough to get in or win 4 in 4 days. Just complete dysfunction there.
