I watched the gameon dvr, so I couldn't access the radio feed. I saw Homer at the table, and he looked like he was asleep and the. He was gone. What's the story?

Yeah, that was bizarre.  He sat on press row for about the first eight minutes, and then I think after the second media timeout was gone for the day.  Why did he sit there at all looking like that if he was that ill to begin with?  He looked drunk.

chapman

Didn't even know he was there.  Kent Sommerfeld was on the call when I tuned in about five minutes before tip-off and said immediately that Homer was taken ill; I assumed he hadn't even made it to the arena.  So Homer was sitting right next to him looking like he was about to hurl for like 20 minutes beyond that?  ?-(

We R Final Four

No--he was sleeping. Any camera shot of Wojo and you could see Homer sleeping on press row.

Homer missed Tuesday night's Xavier game too.  Someone who listened to the radio broadcast said that they mentioned that he had suffered a head injury.  Can anyone elaborate or confirm this?
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

I certainly hope this isn't due to his car accident a year or so ago. Homer is a Marquette treasure.

Agreed.  Will never forget sitting with him and 3 buddies of mine in a bar with him in Lexington shortly after the Butler NCAA Tournament game 2 years ago.  Home team is one of the best.
