My MU vs. Duke prediction

I must be having memory problems.  When was this game?  Also, who did Duke lose from last years team?  They sure looked better yesterday against Illinois than they did at any point last year.  Should be a good game tonight.

they lost against Maryland in the ACC tournament in like 2003 or 2004... it was classic.  In about 10 years ESPN will have a special spotlight on that kid, just my guess


Duke lost McRoberts, which was a gift, for he was terrible.  They gained Singler, a much better player.

I agree about McRoberts. I think they really screwed up their offense last year by bringing him out on the top of the key for most posessions. The guy had talent, but just didn't seem to fit in with the Duke system. I expect Coach K to have his team better prepared for us this year. Should be a great game.

Correct. It is a Wednesday before a holiday break and the office is closing in 62 minutes. So I am having a little fun.

How could I have forgotten about McRoberts?  During the telecast last year, Vitale kept saying how great McRoberts was and that Duke needed to feed him the ball.  Well, they did and he was awful.  While he may have potential, he didn't play up to it during our game or any of the other Duke games I saw the rest of the year.  His departure and the addition of Singler does make them much better.
Paulus is still a pain in the ass. If you're looking for a drinking game tonight, take a drink every time its mentioned that he was a QB in high school.
