Ladies played very aggressive D.  Svetlana was an enforcer, along with Lam, Fedorowicz, and Mellon.  Caused many turnovers.  Stifled their top player, who was relatively quiet.

The admin Technical was a bit frustrating.  Getting a T before the game even started (thought we were at the Kohl center for a moment).  Ref confirmed it was caused by failure to post lineup by time deadline.

Best part, watching the nearly 1000 or so badger fans sit on their hands during most of the game.

Big win!

Those are nice photos. Can I ask you what kind of camera you used? I'm actually in the market for one.

It's a Canon EOS 40D.  These shots were taken with a Canon 85mm f1.8 lens at ISO 800 shot in camera RAW, developed with Adobe Lightroom and processed with Adobe CS3, just in case you care :)

I have a Canon EOS 400D  (the DSLR XTi Rebel as it's more affectionately known).

It rocks....I'd recommend whatever you get, just buy the body only, don't get the crappy lens they sell as a kit, upgrade to a better lens and put your money in the lenses if you're going DSLR.

Some camera stores will let you rent one for a day to demo....you might want to give that a try...they'll also let you demo some lenses.

You'll have to get a walk around lens and then figure out what else you desire (based on what you're shooting) for other lenses.  The lenses aren't cheap, but they make a difference.

Some great websites out there that rate many of the cameras out there.  I'd highly recommend a DSLR rather than a point and shoot if you plan on getting into this at all.

The 40D that MuHoops has includes the new Digic III processor while the 400D has the Digic II processor.  There is much conjecture amongst photo enthusiasts if there is any real difference or a marketing ploy....it does process data more efficiently than the DIGIC II.  Who knows...my guess is that there is a difference...I've always loved my Canons and don't think you can go wrong.

Others love their Nikons, their Fujis, etc.

A few samples from my 400D

Thank you for the pics...and thanks everyone for the photo info.

I'm in the search for a new camera...really looking to upgrade.

I appreciate the info!  :)
