You mean the second half of that game.  Score was tied at 19 at halftime with some of the worst shooting I've ever seen by two teams.  And, MU managed to score even less in the second half with 16 points.

Nope. I don't watch baseball until the World Series elimination games....just like the NBA. The only exceptIon to that rule is if the series is 3-0. Then, I don't even bother.

I like college football...more than cbb non-conference. However, since every football game actually means something, I usually go to a bar to watch whatever the big game is socially. And since I go to a sports bar to watch cfball, I still don't need to actually know the channel.

Or to LSU, who can beat Alabama in the regular season and still lose to them in the National Championship game.  Seems like the biggest game of the regular season (Alabama vs. LSU) meant absolutely, completely nothing.

If you're going to market the fact that "every game is important," and that every regular season game is like a tourney game, then the biggest game of the regular season should probably knock the loser out of National Title contention. Not many college tourneys are double elimination. Instead, the undefeated team goes to lose to a team they had already beaten. It meant nothing the first time around.

Basketball doesn't market it's regular season as a tournament, every game as do or die, like college football does.  Clearly, that is not the case.  If it was the case, LSU's regular season victory over Alabama would've guaranteed Alabama would not win the national title, especially given the fact that LSU went undefeated in the regular season.  If every game means something, you would assume that a team would have to at least play in its conference title game to make the national championship game, let alone win it.  Alabama didn't have to play in its own conference title game but won the national title, and we're supposed to believe that every game matters and every regular season game is a tournament game?  Yeah, makes sense.

No sour grapes at all.  To be honest, if there is a team I root for in college football (which I really don't), it would probably be Alabama.

Any kind of national exposure is good for MU. Who knows maybe MU wins? Even if they lose they are playing with the big boys on national TV.
