Don't be an ass.  Nothing funny or cool about making fun of a kid who may have some serious issues to deal with in his life.  Calling him a "thing" is despicable.  Shocked to see that from someone associated with Marquette.

I am also going to object to making fun of child who I am sure will have a lot of social stigma as it is.

Just to be clear, I was not trying to make fun of him with the Marfan Syndrome comment.  I was legitimately concerned that he may suffer from this serious illness.

I remember watching Isaiah Austin play for the first time and thinking to myself, that guy must have Marfan Syndrome, I hope someone has looked into it and had him tested as it can have serious ramifications.

Turns out that young man did have the illness and unfortunately ended his career.  Hopefully this kid does not also suffer from the genetic abnormality.  Regardless, with that kind of height comes a lot of health issues.  Hopefully he lives a long healthy life and maybe someday fills out his unique size and can use it to his advantage.
