Buycks is headed to Spain, where I bet he'll either be very successful and have a lengthy & lucrative career, or prove himself worthy of a second NBA contract. Nice unexpected success story - local boy too.

And since Dwight turned down workouts with the Lakers and the Clippers to go to Spain, it just might be that he'd rather be a star on a high level European team than be on and off rosters in the NBA.  Life could be a lot worse than playing hoops for money in Spain, Italy or France.

DJO is taking the same route...I bet it was a take it or leave it deal with Dwight Buycks.

I don't agree with his decision looking at the both the Clippers and Lakers. It would have been an excellent opportunity for him.

But you have to cash in on the Raptors playoff appearance last year. But he could have broken in with one of those two teams.

I wish him well. Toronto hosed 3 local guys this offseason. I am really looking for them to get their ass kicked this year.

The traded Novak for Diante Garrett, and then released him the other week and then brought back Vasquez and let Buycks go to have to scramble for work.

All Milwaukee ties...

100% agree. Diener made as much or more in Italy while getting a ton of PT rather than rotting at the end of an NBA bench. Plus you get to expand your horizons and experience an entirely different culture while playing the best game ever invented as your job. Life could CERTAINLY be a lot worse. Buycks wins.
