Just saw this come across twitter. 4* guard from MO. http://t.co/kD8RcJmdmK

DUNKS45

He reminds me of Lamb from uconn, he'd be a nice pick up.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

6"5 SG from Columbia, MO. Has a nice shooting stroke. Fast and can pull up for a mid range shot on a dime. Has enough hops to dunk. Definitely needs to fill out his frame. Looks like he would get bull dozed by most BEast wings.

He has an array of quality offers. Biggest names besides us are Mizzou, K-State, Xavier, and Bucky.

Definitely looks like Wojo is planning on adding another big and a wing with the last two 2015 schollies.

Jay Bee

6'5"... don't think so.

Lanky dude, but can play and do things offensively at diff levels (slash, mid, outside). Good all around player. Has been in Minnesota a bit over the past few months... w/his AAU team for a tourney in May and with his HS team for Gopher team camp a couple of weeks ago.

Was at the NBPA Top 100 camp as well.. did well, although not overly aggressive.  108 ORtg with 19% usage. 17% assists, 15% turnovers. 50% eFG%, 50% eFG on both 2FGA & 3FGA's... 32% of his FGA were 3's.

Posted a 6.0% steal rate at NBPA Top 100 Camp... and a reasonable foul rate. No one else in camp had better than a 4.6% steal rate. He played alongside the man.. Dwayne Bacon.. at Top 100 Camp.

Looking at the highlight tape it is clear he can do a lot of different things well.  I think our weight room and possibly a Red Shirt season could position this young man for a decent career.

I like his footwork. He gets himself set, though it's a tad slow.
I love how he uses the midrange jumper a lot.

One thing that bugs me is his constant use of the offhand/arm to keep the defender at bay.
I know many kids use it nowadays but if that's what gets separation from you and your defender, you're not fast enough (or not using your speed).
SS Marquette

Earl Tatum

Jimmy Whitt is around 6-3, 170.

I have no problem with guards protecting the basketball while they dribble.

Anti-Dentite

You know the difference between a dentist and a sadist, don't you? Newer magazines.

I dunno guys. Seems like everyone on the Scoop would then complain about having a bunch of white guys and a Whitt guy...
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Yea, plus he makes too many shots. Not sure he is Marquette material. No thank you.
