Player of the week: Tyrone Kent, junior wing, Toledo. After averaging just 5.7 points as a sophomore, Kent registered nearly half the Rockets' points in a tough, 57-53 victory over Missouri State. Kent scored a career-best 27 points on 11-of-21 shooting and struggled only from long range, where he missed all but one of his five attempts. His bio on the official Toledo web site describes him as "probably the Rockets' most talented player." He's a Chicago product who played at Crane Tech.

This came from the DeCourcey blog on TSN.com. Not much fanfare on him a couple years ago but Crean liked the talent. You can see where his love of this type of player has led.
