Jay Bee

Billy is a '15 from Eau Claire (Regis HS) who runs with D1 Minnesota (fka Minnesota Pump N Run). Last couple of years he's run with Henry Ellenson (last year on D1 MN's 16U team) and Marshawn Wilson, but now with Henry gone will take on a bigger scoring role.

Has consistently impressed me over the last few years - wing with good size. Can shoot from outside, but can also be aggressive and assertive in the paint.

MU has called on him; I have thought of him in the past as a likely MM guy, but he's such a solid performer and continues to develop enough that he's worthy of being tracked by some HM's.

A recent interview is HERE.

...and some notes from last year are HERE... (April 2013 - "In Denver, 6'4″ wing Billy Wampler (2015, Eau Claire Regis) demonstrated his nose for the ball and frequently made key plays. Whether it was a defensive stop, big rebound, nice pass or timely trey, Wampler often stood out.")

...and HERE... (July 2013 - "How solid is Wampler? Tough, skilled player. Does everything. Again, always seems to be in the mix at key points of the game – aggressive. Big shots, big steals, rebounds, blocks... all of D1 Minnesota's teams are great "teams" – Wampler exemplifies it.")
The portal is NOT closed.
