we are 21 and UW is No. 232 in the latest RPI ratings. To those who criticize our out-of-conference schedule, it is light years ahead of the Badgers. Hope both teams come into Dec. 9 unbeaten.

I think the portion of our schedule that people criticize -- and rightfully so -- is our HOME non-conference schedule. This is the portion of the schedule that MU asks its supporters to pay for. Other than the Badgers, it is pathetic. Next year's should be improved, but this year it's absolutely horrible...even worse than last year and I didn't think that was possible.

with UW at home, you could certainly argue that our home OOC schedule is better than the Badgers'. And there is no comparison once you get into the conference home games. I had to laugh when someone on badgermaniac was talking about UW's tough OOC schedule. Other than MU, it is Cupcake City.

my bad.

To take your point in a different direction.  Last year, our biggest non-conf. victory was against S. Carolina in the Great Alaska Shootout.   Arguably, TT is a bigger victory than that one (or at least equal to) and Duke is much bigger.  Those wins will look nice come seeding time in March.

does this mean I have to pull for duke now?

Nah.  You just have more reasons not to be disappointed when they win.   ;)
