I guess that you're saying that they're no Texas Western, hey?

Theyre the exact opposite of Texas Western.

what about Frank Kaminsky?  If he has 2 more really good games.  Does he go?  One can only hope  ;D

Why would Dekker or Kaminsky go into one of the deepest NBA drafts, in recent memory?  They are better served to stay another year to increase their draft stock.  Both of those players are 2nd rounders, most likely, with the ability to crack the 1st round next year.

They are loaded for next year.  He is coming back regardless

Sounds like the way we were describing this year's MU team last year, and look what happened.

He refuses to double team, its not in his dna

Yeah, but we were great at it   :P   Make the other team shoot open threes all day.

I'd like to think he may go out on a high note, but definitely ain't no AL since he didn't declare his retirement before the Tourney started.

They don't have Sybil as their head coach.

If Bo Ryan leaves, should he be sent to prison?

Eh, Dekker is projected first rounder, and Kaminsky's stock is extremely high, and he might consider selling.

Nothing is guaranteed.  Millions of dollars dangled in front of me at 20 years old and I would have probably thought long and hard about it.

I don't get all the Dekker love from scouts....I don't see one thing he does at an elite level right now?  He's a good athlete - certainly not elite level - his perimeter shooting is solid, not spectacular.  Feel he regressed a little this year.

Kaminsky on the other hand - He plays out of his mind Saturday and they make Championship game and does the same...he may give it serious thought....could potentially play himself into lottery consideration.

This is bordering on Mitch McGary talk from last year.

Kaminsky is not a lottery pick....no way, no how, not this year.  He's not even a mock draft lottery pick NEXT year right now.  He's a late first round pick at this point.

Lol at the thought of Bo leaving after this year. Dekker has already said he is staying next year (he'd be stupid to declare). Big Frank isn't a solid NBA player until he puts on 20 pounds of muscle, which he could do this offseason. Highly doubt he leaves. Wisconsin will, in all likelihood, be even better next year, and there's no way Bo passes up the opportunity to go to back to back Final Fours.

I think they beat Kentucky and come up just short in the title game.  They come back next year hoping to win it all, on a mission, etc, are top 10 most of the year, and get upset in the Sweet 16 by a coach they all despise.  It would be rather humorous.

They won't even come close to the national title. They will lose by 20 in their first game. Not enough athletes to compete.
Yeah, Baylor squad agrees.....NOT

Have you actually watched them play?  Take the golden glasses off, the Badgers are very good

Not saying Big Frank goes to the NBA this year.  But NBA teams draft players based on potential.  Do they think they can put 20lbs on big Frank and will that make the difference in their eyes.

Dekker could certainly benefit from another year in college, but if Kaminsky has another good game his stock likely won't get any higher, regardless of the strength of the draft. I don't think he will declare, but I think it wouldn't be a bad decision if he did.

I agree completely agree on Kaminsky. I think you're shortchanging Dekker though, at least from a pro prospect perspective.

You may be correct that Dekker doesn't do anything at an elite level right not, though I do think Dekker is closer to elite athlete level than you think he is. Either way, how he has performed this season has less impact on his future pro prospects than his potential, which is through the roof IMO. He could be come a very good all around player and a matchup problem in the NBA with some improved shooting and defense.

Dekker will have to work on his shot. He really sucked on it this year. Also Defense.
