Tyshawn Taylor, Nick Williams, Mo Creek (?), Damian Saunders (?)

Taylor went to Kansas when a scholarship opened up at his dream school (Kansas). Nick Williams (recruited as the "next Dwyane Wade) followed TC to Indiana, stayed 1 year and transferred to Mississippi. Mo Creek was in the following year's recruiting class. Went to IU, really good freshman year followed by 2 marred by injury. Transferred to George Washington and had a solid senior season leading them to the NCAAs. Damian Saunders came earlier and was Crean's DJ Newbill. We over signed and came up with a bogus excuse (he met NCAA standards but not MU's - LOL) to Crean him.

Missing one important piece to that comparison: Saunders was peripherally involved in a situation that gave Crean wiggle room; Newbill wasn't remotely close to a situation that gave Buzz wiggle room. Newbill was simply asked not to attend the school.

Hazel played Buzz's first year and then transferred.  Mark him as staying when Crean left.
I never respected how Buzz criticized him in public.
Saying he would stop practice....for Pat Hazel.
Seems like that should have been kept within the confines of the team.

Sorry but your wrong. Crean said emphatically that Saunders was not denied do to the previous pot possession charge. He said he was denied due to academics - even though he was (very much unlike D Wade) fully qualified.

It will be interesting to see who, if anyone, hires Howland.

Let's cut Homer a break. He's job description requires him to drink the koolaide and be proud of it.

The arrest gave MU and Crean the wiggle room to play the academics angle. Everyone, including even someone like you, knows how important wiggle room is when booting a kid. Buzz didn't learn that until after he booted Newbill.

Sure, but when comparing his first Milwaukee radio experience with those in Durham he had to undoubtedly feel it was amateur hour.  He actually had a weekly radio show down here with someone who was employed by the athletic department hosting.

BS. Saunders was coming to MU. The marijuana thing was a non issue. So were his academics as he was fully qualified. The trumped up academic charges were no more real than the "he didn't fill out an application" excuse. We didn't have room so we kicked both guys to the curb. Only difference was there was no outrage here when Crean did it.

I know you're hurting now for being duped by Buzz. In fact, it must kill you for being the exact person you've spent six years ruthlessly mocking. Because of that, I won't antagonize you further.

LOL - "it" wouldn't kill me. I'd do the job myself.
