Expect this list to grow A LOT in the coming weeks.

It underscores that transfers are the way the world works, not necessarily a sign your program is weak.

In our case, sadly, the latter is true.

Correct - The average NCAA program has 1.8 transfers per year.  I heard that stat just the other day on college sports radio.

Nolan Berry's name sticks out, but he'll be coming from Butler so that's probably a no-go.

Here's a Stone that could be fill up the center spot: http://www.utahstateaggies.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/jordan_stone_761658.html

And it appears he'll be a man among boys.

What the stat on players signed but never make it to campus or first game per year?

Wally Ellenson is leaving Minnesota, so I doubt that his brother will go there.

mattyv1908

What does it say about Buzz when 50% of his HS recruits have transferred out of the program?  That's not counting the players that never made it to their first day on campus.

I did not include the 2013-14 recruiting class as a lot could happen with Wilson, Johnson, Dawson and Burton in regards to transferring.
Shut this board down at the opening tip.  If they win, open it back up.  If they lose, keep it shut it down until the next morning.  - Sultan of Slurpery

I read Kevin Ware is transferring from Louisville as well. Or did I miss him on the list?

For all sports or just Division 1 basketball?

+1 ... he's staying and concentrating on jumping

He's a 7'3" high jumper and was the top Freshman at the B1G championship

Be careful, however, as some schools have 3, 4, 5 transfers while others have 0.

Very true.  They should have separate categories for transfers, though.  Some are guys who are the 10th or 11th man on the bench and they transfer to a DII or DIII school to start. Others get homesick, some don't like the system or they didn't pan out, etc.
