Well, no one seemed to catch my Big Lebowski reference in another thread so I feel we should spen the next few days working on our cult movie references.

I caught it. Would have said something but I thought I was out of my element.

Anyone find it interesting/different that they're considering a not-ordained priest?

Seen two dvds.  One close caption is "Brad", one "Brett".  Go figure.

reportedly will be the Dean of the Law School.  no, i'm not saying DONE DEAL, but that is the word on the street.

Hearing that CBS 58 reported this tonight.  Not in MKE, so I can't confirm.

Never once have I been concerned with this supposed ego you speak of. I interacted with him on a daily basis for 3 years, attend multiple functions with him in attendance, and receive correspondence from him and have never seen this. A dry sense of humor? Sure. But ego...nope, haven't seen it.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I don't know the basis for your comment, but as an MU Law grad, Kearney has been nothing but positive for MU Law, it's students and alumni.  His academic pedigree, fundraising, and personnel selection have only enhanced MU Law's national profile.  He would be an inspired choice for MU president -- if he can be convinced to leave the Law School.

Its not like hes changing schools. He still has the power to look over the law school and pick his successor.
