Should be a good game, but I think Wichita State is the real deal...like the Shockers...

As for the reports on Howland...very encouraging....sounds like he'll take the job if offered...and his track record is quite impressive...likely would be here for the rest of his career if things go well.  Reminds me a little bit of John Beilien..very executive...would be a major contrast to Buzz.

Still prefer Shaka Smart...only downside there is does Shaka stay long term..?  Howland seems like a safer bet in that regard..

Thank you for the John Beilien comparison...totally agree. As I've mentioned in some other threads, I think Howland has something to prove after UCLA so he'll be plenty energized.
