For a game that apparently all of Milwaukee (UWM fans) wanted there seems to be a lot of seats still available.

I hope we blow them out and don't let up to show them why this game hasn't and shouldn't have been played.

I'm not really into running up the score (especially in college sports)...

But, it would be somewhat satisfying if MU ran it up a little bit.

UWM has obviously had some success recently... and I wish them all of the best in the future.

But, all of the "smack talk" around Milwaukee could end very quickly if MU stomps them.

The Lens

I would hope we don't need UWM fans to sell out a game on a Friday night against a team from a decent mid-major conference while we're ranked near the Top 10 and probably coming off a Maui Champ.  If we need some Black & Yellow to pack the place, we've got issues.

Wellll .. I wouldn't say that.  First off, the game is a month away.  Tickets to the public just opened up.  You can book it that it will be the highest attended OOC game this year.  The group I buy for picked up this game amongst all the BE must-go games.

So what will be a success?  I eyeballed last year's OOC attendance figures .. they're around 13k (probably more like 9k butts in seats.)   -- I'll say MU fans buy 2k tickets, and Milwaukee fans buy 2k tickets.  Suddenly, that's 17k fans, close to the 18.7k max. -- AND .. the butts in seats to attendance factor will be MUCH higher.

I'm pleased that the game is being played, and hope the series continues for as long as it is economically beneficial to MU, i.e., UWM doesn't demand (more) unwarranted dollars for their trip across town.

.. And yes.  By the end of the game, I want to stomp them so bad, they're still uncontrollably sobbing on their bus trip home.  I want Tommy Brice to play 38 minutes and get a triple-double, as we rest our starters.

I'd be very satisfied w/ a decisive W.

Oh I think it's generally an a-hole move running up the score in college but after all the crap MU has put up with from UWM it's time to teach them a lesson!

I'm hoping the UWM fans wear gold as well!
