I thought Napier was done and Nova was going to come back.

Nova has been pulling an MU missing bunnies and shooting 34.1% from the field.

Our last Big East hope is Creighton.

And Heisenberg thinks this is a perennial 5 bid league....

Nova has not gotten ANYTHING in the paint.

Oh yea, and Napier looked like Allen Iverson out there.

This blows.  I'm rooting super hard for the Jays tmrw

GoldenWarrior11

How do you think the ACC feels?  Duke (Mercer) and Syracuse (Dayton) have already lost.

BIG 10 is the winner so far.

Eldon

Here we go!!!

It's Miller time, guys.  Reggie Miller time.

If they can get to UW and beat them, mcBuckets might grow on me a little

This may be the dumbest question ever, and if so I am sure Ill hear about it, but why is it so important that the Big East does well in the tournament?  What good does it do Marquette if Creighton makes a final four?

The further the teams in your conference go, the more NCAA tournament shares are paid out to the conference = more money for MU.  And helps the conference's reputation if our teams do well.

bilsu

It makes the league look good.

If MU and G'Town didn't shat the bed this year, it would have easily been a 5 bid league this year.  A ton of talent coming in next year, we'll see how it goes.  Is the ACC bad because Duke went down in the first round?

Chicos,

I really admire your contributions to this forum, however I respectfully disagree with you.

If Marquette and Georgetown had the years they were expected it's highly unlikely Xavier (last 2 in) and Providence (needing BET win) would have made the tournament.

We were much closer to a two bid league than we were to a five bid league.

Sorry bro, don't think any of those 2014 recruits steps on campus again......hope they do, it just feels like this craptacular year won't stop and those recruits wanted to play for Buzz and not at Marq.

Might need to find some of Frozena and Floods siblings to suit up

Wasn't talking about MU, but about the Big East.  I believe the conference landed the second most top 100 players in the country if I recall.

Some truth to what you are saying, but if MU and G'Town, and SJU for that matter, do what they are supposed to, they get in along with Nova and Creighton.  That would be 5.  Didn't happen this year.

Who do we end up filling the team with if the 2014 recruits don't come?
