For now

Johnson lasted two years before he was fired.  Buzz is getting 300% more money.  Next year is a pass, year 2 better show improvement.  

He's is making too much money to get fired.  If he thinks he had "less adoration" the last few weeks, wait until year three when the Hokies are fighting for 11th place in the ACC.  Bobby Knight might find that "less adoration" unbearable.

And doesn't the employee understand what that means?  And if that employee characterizes it as being "fired," is that wrong?
