This is the part I don't get.  If you think the BE is going to become a mid-major, why not take the BC or Wake jobs?  Same conference, better basketball traditions.

I have to assume they did not want him and Buzz took what he could.  If so, what does that tell you?

BC is tight with MU, maybe they told them better steer clear.
