Must be nice in that imaginary little world of yours where a team - with 2 McDonald's AAs, college basketball's 6th man of the year and several 4 stars, picked to finish in the first division of college basketball's toughest conference by everyone and the top 28 nationally by writers and coaches - "about meets expectations, maybe a teensy, weensy bit worse" by losing 12 of 19 against Big 10 opponents, missing both the NCAA and NIT and finishing 72nd in Pomeroy and 99th in the RPI. Not deflecting at all. I am on record as acknowledging that this season was a "major disappointment" for MU. But when Indiana fans come on here criticizing our performance and bogusly defending theirs I reserve the right to call out the obvious BS.

The CIT was announced on Friday before even the NCAA or NIT teams were named.

Per the Wake beat writer at the Winston-Salen Journal:

Pittsburgh, while still in the Big East, played in the CBI in 2012. Paul Zeise, my new buddy from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, stopped by my computer at the Greensboro Coliseum work room to pass along that the Panthers paid $25,000 for the first round, $50,000 for the second and $75,000 for the third.

Ha...thanks. I quickly gave up on this season back in December as I didn't need the incredible amounts of stress I allow MUBB to put on me when we're doing terribly (or, I guess, "standardly").
