Big East Officiating

This post is in no way blaming the officials for tonight's loss.  In fact, I have loved how physical the BET has been to this point.  But I couldn't help but think about the ridiculous officiating at the Bradley Center this year, specifically the Creighton game (everybody had fresh breath after that tic tac fest).  The officials really need to find some measure of consistency.  I remember flagrant fouls that we have been called for over the past couple of seasons; Lockett last year, Gardner and Todd this year, etc...then we see what we saw tonight.  Two flagrant fouls that were just "good hard basketball plays."  They need to find a way to get these officials on the same page, both for the quality of play and the sanity of the coaches.  It will make for a better product.

Not the same conference, but watching UWM/Wright State game, they let them play.  Over and over games I watched in BE were called so close it was hard to watch the game

I agree. I thought tonight was a very good basketball game to watch. Was not the case far to often this year, however. I come down onthe side of let them play every time.
