Dumbest team in MU history

Mayo twice fouls an opponent on a three pointer who made both shots for two 4-point plays.  Thomas grabs an inbound and covers it up, thinking the refs automatically call fouls for him to shoot free throws, only to be tied up with the possession arrow to Providence (do think the dummy was aware Providence had the arrow?).  D. Wilson immediately fouls an 80+ percent free throw shooter on the Providence inbound...these helium-heads don't even deserve an N.I.T. bid!!!

let's add the coach too. Mayo scored more than the 5 starters combined, but make no mistake, we will see the same crappy starting unit next game. If not for overtime, this would have been 2 games in a row where the starting 5 totaled less than 20 points.

It's okay to be frustrated but come on. This team is gonna finish as a fringe bubble team who finished in the top half of the conference. We have had much worse teams than this.

I said going to. I am anticipating a win on Senior night against SJU. If I'm wrong, I will stand corrected.

Even I am wrong, a 6th place finish is hardly our worst showing. Not happy with it. But I have seen much worse as a Warrior.

If it was JUST this game 'maybe' I could see your point (minus the bashing the refs comment)  BUT it is not just this game this team is very accustomed to making mistakes in key spots.  Not sure why?  Coaching? Player Incompetence? Just dumb luck?

Same coach for the last 6 years, none of this happened.    Senior leadership every year until this one.    Three amigos, Lazar/Cubi/Mo, JFB/Buycks, Crowder/DJO, Cadougan/Lockett/Blue(honorary) .....  Jamil/Otule/Gardner/Jake


Of these groups, of which one can it be said that they disappeared in big games during their senior season?   Which team underperformed expectations?    Which one lacked the warrior mentality?   Which one had their 'stars' not show up in big games and at crunch time?
