So, I just had a random shower epiphany.

I think it is safe to say that since Buzz has been the Marquette basketball head coach we have had some good(great) seasons. Sometimes we even share the conference title. We have also one a few tourney games, 7 in last 3 years to be exact.

What did all those years have in common though? For whatever reason we have sucked ass at the Garden for the Big East tourney.

Long story short, this year we basically suck ass in general. So, that means we WILL win the BE tourney and make the NCAA tourney.

I am all for Marquette winning the BET and getting into the big dance.  However after seeing how Marquette has played in its first 22 games it is really tough to see.  I think we have seen the real Marquette team in our first 22 games.  Again I am hoping it is wrong, but it is kind of like in the 4th quarter with five minutes left and down two touchdowns.  A lot of things have to bounce the right way to win.  Possible but not probable.

And Milwaukee's sub-tropical climate caused it to be named warmest city in America.

And Illinois just fixed its pension problem and was named "Best State to Locate a Business with 1,000 or more new employees!"

And Vander Blue was just named rookie of the year in the NBA.

I've got no problem with that.  I'll even okay with "the worst team to make the tournament", "worst team to get to the round of 32", "worst team to make the sweet sixteen", etc.

God I hope so. March Madness will just not be the same without watching MU and nearly having a heart attack during every nail-biting win. We are gonna need one hell of a run to win the BET, but crazier things have happened and the talent is there, they just need to somehow piece it together for one more run. Desperately need a leader to come through and will us to a few wins, Jamil? Davante? Todd? We shall see.
