I find it amusing how fast this board turns on Todd....it's amazing actually.  He's the team's 3rd leading scorer.  Everyone on this team has had inconsistent moments...Todd especially when it comes to playing time...consistently inconsistent.  Makes a few mistakes...he's out for the game..or most of it.  Meanwhile, we've had Jake Thomas consistently getting 25 minutes per game - and I'm not certain if there is one thing Jake does better than Todd.  Guarn-god-dang-tee it, if Jake ever tried going to the basket forcing action...he'd have a sh$t ton of turnovers.

Does Jake have any assists this year?  Jake just made his 3rd 2pt shot of the freaking year, 22 games into the season.

So yes, Todd may turn it over on occasion, forcing action, trying to attack...but I'll take that attacking..much like Burton...over guys who play safe/don't make any mistakes...because they never force action on the basketball court. 

Things Jake Thomas does better than Todd:

**3 point shooting
**Rebounding
**Protects the ball

That being said, this is exactly why I complain about Todd's inconsistencies and why he is absolutely NOT a replacement for Vander.  He is great one game, and completely non-existent in another.  You simply cannot count on him night and and night out.

I felt for awhile that are only chance to get to NCAA tournament is to win the Big East tournament. That is why we have to keep starting JJJ and Burton, as they have the most chance to improve over the next month to get us ready for conference tournament.

We are not winning the BE tournament. I do agree we keep starting the young fellas. They are the future.

I really thought it was interesting that Jamil and Todd sat the whole second half...sending a message to the guys who need to take over? Or did they mouth off at halftime?

Wilson sat the whole second half. Todd did play early in second half. The game actually ended for us, when Todd got a steal and then got called for charging.
