Didn't watch the game, but the box score seems to indicate that defense lost the game, not offense. I mean how do we give up 13 offensive boards to a team with ONE guy over 6"7?

Why do you think Jake Thomas played SO MUCH better against Georgetown, but was invisible today against NOVA??  To go from 16 against G'Town to 0 against Nova?  I'm going to guess it has a little something to do with his backcourt mate.  Still, Mayo should be getting 30, and Jake 10 at that position..

Again, when you can't actually back anything up with knowledge you try to attack.  You call someone clueless and then follow up with this.  Jake Thomas has been in double figures 6 times.  5 of the 6 where with Derrick Wilson getting 30+ minutes.  How did Jake Thomas play SO MUCH better with Dawson with 12 points versus say the ASU game with 16 or the NMU game with 17.  Both of those teams are better than Georgetown.  Both of those teams played man versus a weak zone.

It is such a joke how much garbage is spewing from your keyboard.  

Here is one for you.  Choose one game Marquette would have won had Dawson played more:

OSU - In the third game of the season Dawson was going to win.  I think not
Arizona State - The game Derrick had 7 assists and 14 points
San Diego State - I think Dawson gets eaten alive
Wisconsin in the Kohl center - I highly doubt it would have been as close
NM - Again doubt it.  
Creighton - Not even close
Xavier - He got a good run only 5 minutes less with Wilson and we still lost so you can't claim that one.  Wilson actually had 5 assists this game while Dawson had 1.  Dawson also shot it 7 times to score 6 points.
Butler - This is probably the only game you could even remotely say there was a possibility.  Just to be nice I will give you this one though I think Dunham would have gone for 30.  
Villanova - Doubt it based on how he didn't do anything for half the first half.  

So at best Marquette's would be 12-8 instead of 11-9.  Doesn't seem like he would have been a difference maker to me.  What is more important is the Taylor/Gardner lineup.

I wish Dawson would have played more today. However, I'm sure Buzz was seeing that the offense was playing well with Derrick today. And Buzz clearly feels Derrick is the better defender, so it made sense to have Derrick on the court in Buzz's mind.

God forbid we might have given up more than 94 points. Thanks to the contributions of Derrick and Jake we held them under the century mark.

You didn't back anything up and your defense in all the scenarios was you doubt it...well doubt all you want our record is 11-9 and that is with Wilson playing 30 mpg.
