I believe there is something to this. I don't love this team. Was the overriding feeling I had watching the game, particularly the bench, yesterday. I just dont see it as a group that is particularly serious about being good. My feeling the past several years is that MU had an attitude of just go out and play until we win. I do not get a sense of anywhere near that same level of relentlessness from these guys. You see it from certain guys some of the time, but collectively I don't think they have a meaningful appreciation for what it takes to win the way Blue, Cadougan, Crowder, etc. did.

Its really disappointing the light didn't turn on for Jamil this off-season. If he had the mindset of Jerel McNeal, we'd have what we need to cover up our backcourt deficiencies. And I think there was potentially a lot of NBA money at stake for him.

I think in the past he has talked glowingly about Gardner. However, I do think Gardner has been sulking this season, because he expected to start at the 4. He got beat out by Taylor and then when Taylor's leg went bad Jamil moved from 3 to 4. Trying to give Gardner and Taylor first shot at 4 resulted in McKay transferring. Had Gardner been happy from the start playing backup center would of allowed McKay to play the 4 in practice and I suspect he would still be here.

Do you have anything specific to support your feeling that there are "me first bad attitude guys" among the upperclassman?  "Blue argument about money"  I assume that you're referring to the reported fight in the weight room about who would make more this year.  Do you believe that that really happened?

Last year in the TV interview after the win over U Conn, Junior in a very innocent way referenced Davantes reputation .
