I know he was injured but I wonder if GTown was expecting him to come back later and be an impact player.

Nothing concrete yet. What is known is he was sent home early from Puerto Rico. So he clearly did something there that broke the camels back.

In addition there are rumors that he was not taking his academics and rehab seriously. Some rumors state his grades would not allow him to come back this year even if he got healthy. I think he will have a hard time transferring to a D1 program and he is looking at D2 schools so he could play right away.

It's sad that this kid has wasted his potential. Not a huge loss for the program since we basically weren't going to have him this year and didn't have him for most of last year, but he was nice piece. Luckily we're bringing in 2 Stud wings next year in White and Copeland so I don't expect this to hurt us, but He needs to really re-examine his life.
